Laurie Faulkner Bio

Laurie’s roots in this Industry are with Henna Body Art, she soon incorporated custom & Speed Temporary Tattoo work and then in more recent years, discovered and embodied Face and Body Art. Laurie initiated her own Business “Fantasy Graphics Body Arts” close to 20 years ago and has been working full time in this capacity ever since.

Prior to taking on the Arts professionally, Laurie came from a strong Corporate background, she worked as a receptionist / Secretary for a number of years in Law / Fashion and then later in Real Estate. Laurie then went on to own and operate her own Fringe Fashion Boutique.

What I’m Doing Now

Today in addition to her Creative Work, Laurie acts as Secretary for AFABA (Australasian Face & Body Art Association). This is a voluntary role driven by a passion to work hard to raise the awareness and professionalism of her Industry with likeminded colleagues. Her Corporate Background coupled with her creative experience in the field sets her in good steed for this position.
